Another studio just handed out pin slips too.

Knights of Amulara or whatever - that studio.

I'd guess most came from Big Huge Games who did the console game. I'd not be surprised to see an announcement that Curt, Todd and Rob are taking $1/ month or something till they secure more VC or the mmo launches

Studio 38 or some such.

I have friends who have friends(NOT as bad as many forum posters) who were told they were done. And that's where one of my former managers went almost a year ago.
